Gary Wheeler

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Gary Wheeler

heard many whispers that he is our new centre signing. Thoughts?

Despite his injury problems hes always made the 17 for Saints when fit, this says to me he is a good one.

Good signing for me (if true)

Is he seriously a better option to players that the club already has at its disposal?

The biggest Room is the Room for improvement.

The best form of defence is attack!!

Out of the black and into the red, remember you don't get anything for two in a bed!!

In light of the last 3 matches, would anyone really want him now?

Last 3 matches have shown how good he is at centre, which is not very. Bit of a strange one Wheeler. Seems to have loads of talent but doesn't fit in anywhere. Maybe fullback beckons for him but not with us.

I agree. In fact the more I see of him the more I am begining to think that he is more than a tad overated. He is a definite talent but is never a centre and is defense is very weak. He is a natural stand off and I rate him highly there but as you say full back may be is best position.
