That's correct, Rhodri Lloyd is a lock (loose forward).
It will be interesting to see how he goes, he has a great physique and a fair bit of ability so will keep an eye on his progress.

More chance of a two-way arrangement here than with the Saracens link
But dont't forget IL's knowledge of RU from his Quins days
Mind you a link with an English based RU club (Quins) might have been better than a South African based club (Saracenes)

This partnership excites me more than the one with Sarries, it allows us to get a real foothold in Wales so any talented young player identified there has a real chance of ending up at Wigan at some point in the future.

It also allows the club an opportunity of giving young players who are too good for the academy leagues a chance to play against more seasoned professional players.

If we can help Wales make an impact at the 2013 World Cup it would be a huge achievement by the club.

Well done Mr L for creating another excellent initiative. Also, congrats to Andy Coley on his new role within the club.

Former Warriors player Andy Coley, who retired at the end of 2011, will also take up a new role with the Club to oversee the partnership in Wales. The position will be combined with a welfare role supporting Wigan players and a role in the Club's new Central Park Work & Sporting Excellence Academy.

I thought he was going back to his 'proper' job as a Quantity Surveyor???
He was, but then the club offered him this position before he retired & he decided to take it up.
Sorry Josie but your slightly wrong, he would have been a QS and doing the RL part time if the firm he worked for hadnt gone bust.
I hope they didnt stiff him out of money like they did me!!

Slim, his wife told me this after the last game of the proper season, so I was just answering the question.

Sorry if you have been shafted by the firm :(
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
