Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Tickets for Saints , Good Friday
When I went down for my niece's tickets this morning, the tickets hadn't arrived.
There weren't any adults left from yesterday just over 60's & young adults. So I'm assuming that the new allocation is for adult tickets & juniors.

Re: Tickets for Saints , Good Friday
Saints are still selling tickets for the east but state that you may be with away fans.
I know people who have been down this morning and been told only OAP's available the moment, so got tickets from Saints.
I know its nice to see mixed terracing and there isn't much bother at wigan v saints, but 3000 tickets is a bit poor, especially when we give them so many more. Holding 900 tickets back for your own fans is a bit naughty, just hope we do the same for the rematch.
Give the tossers the outer 4 columns leaving the middle one for wiganers.

Re: Tickets for Saints , Good Friday
In fairness, a lot of Saints fans on RedVee aren't happy with the way the club have handled this. As they say, the East Stand is earmarked as the away stand and all tickets should have been sent to us. To a man they all look forward to having our entire North Stand to themselves when they visit and are concerned lest this could now be jeopardised!
Admittedly this is unlikely as our stadium is much bigger but the fact remains that it would have made for a better atmosphere if all the Wigan fans were together and not interspersed with the Stains who thought they were being clever snapping up East tickets early!

Phoned a got a ticket this morning on the Loyal 18 card. They're still available.....
Re: Tickets for Saints , Good Friday
I don't think there will be many Saints fans in the East Terrace, maybe a hundred or so. A lot of Wigan fans bought tickets from Saints megastore when they found out what was happening. There will be more Wigan fans than the 3,000 allocation we received.Kittwazzer wrote:Admittedly this is unlikely as our stadium is much bigger but the fact remains that it would have made for a better atmosphere if all the Wigan fans were together and not interspersed with the Stains who thought they were being clever snapping up East tickets early!
