Well done the lads they all deserve their selection.
No doubt Preccy will be knocking on the door when he gets his match fitness.
11 Whino's in the ETC England squad, who's taking the p155 here.

Atkins looks so dominant in Warrington shirt that he should be in the squad, even if he hasn't looked great in internationals in past. Plenty of others players got a lot of chances.

Well pleased for all the Wigan boys. Can't argue with their selections.

Hardly a big deal though. Two 'international' games against British based players followed by a 4 Nations against Somalia, Monaco and Burkina Faso!

So who would be in your first 17 from this lot, I think I would go with something like:

1. S Tomkins
2. J Charnley
3. K Welham
4. K Watkins
5. R Hall
6. D Brough
7. J Lomax
8. G Carvell
9. J Roby
10 L Mossop
11 J Jones-Buchanan
12 G Hock
13 S O'Loughlin
14 B Westwood
15 E Crabtree
16 R Burrow / M McIlorum
17 A Morley / K Sinfield / J Peacock

The thing that does strike me in my first 13 is a lack of a good goal kicker. So should I find a place for Sinfield, and if I do would it be at 6 or 13, where I prefer the players I have already named? The goal kicker is irrelevant if the pack are not bossing the game and trys are not being scored. I thought a lot about Burrow or Micky Mac at 16 but went for Burrow because he gives half back cover as well as being able to do a job at 9. Morley gets 1st look at 17 as the old head to steady the ship if needed  but also gives the extra grunt in the pack.

thoughts?

Close to what id chose although for me it would be a hard choice between burrow and lomax for the 7, burrow due to size troubles the big aussies.

I wouldnt have JJB in the squad id have westwood starting and Morley and Peacock on the bench probs.

As for kicker, both westwood and brough are decent kickers and will get 90% of the chances

its not our best team buy a long way theres 5 possible 6 players in aus who would be in james graham, jack reed, sam burgess, gareth ellis, gareth widdop, chris heighington.

luke george should have been in the nights squad he's in outstanding form and managed to get a hatrick against saints when huddersfield looked to be on for defeat at half time.

It has been stated that the Aussie based players are not available for the summer matches but will be for the autumn internationals, building towards the world cup, so the team I chose was from those available, But most of those you've named above would make my ideal team.
