The gamble to leave out Richards, Tomkins, O'Loughlin and Leuluai has failed - and quite dramatically.

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Why this early in the season we feel we have to rest the spine of our team is beyond me

Penalty kick missed to win game. Only kick Charnley has missed all day.

Absolutely disgusting to throw this away with this shocking team selection.

SW wants his head sorting out, Total arrogance IMO!!

Not going to slaughter S Wane but he showed complete and utter disregard of Widnes. This is utterly embarrassing. You cannot expect to leave out so many senior players from the squad and expect to have it put on a plate for you.

Couldn't get 2nd half radio coverage anywhere. BBC online coverage down and couldn't get Wish site to work. Absolutely apalling coverage of what was obviously a close match. Hope BBC are kicking them selves for having a football phone in instead of commentary on the match.

what an unmitigated distaster!!!!!!!!!!

But fair play to Widnes. Good for them.

Just wish it hadn't been against us.

I reckon London are in for a hammering!!!!

I'm gutted and a little bit embarassed.

The match was live on Wire FM .

Hope SW has learned a hard lesson from this result , when things are going badly you need your leaders to step up not sit in the stand .
