Re: Positives from Widnes
What would the positives have been if SW had played the full first team and won 70-0.
Nothing, there were loads of positives yesterday, but people won't admit to them because we lost against Widnes.

Re: Positives from Widnes
The positives would have clearly been 2 points, increased points for and improved points against, top of the league, momentum still gathering, 1-2 players rested that were clearly injured and 1-2 young players introduced to gain experience of Superleague with seasoned team mates, the chance to maybe rest a couple of injured players in the game against Broncos the following week, finally no egg on our face from losing to an awful team in terms of SL standard.First Try Tickle wrote:What would the positives have been if SW had played the full first team and won 70-0.

Positives from yesterday? Well hopefully SW has learnt from this clear mistake and we don't lose the league leaders shield by a point.

Why ?TonyH wrote:I've merged the 'Josh' thread with this one.
They are about 2 different topics.
Better to merge the "positives" thread with the "wigan v widnes" one.

We play games to win not to learn things, its about winning nothing else! Points in the bag mean everything!

Tell that to Warrington..GBH wrote: its about winning nothing else! Points in the bag mean everything!
Which do you think they would rather have, the league leaders shield or the grand final trophy.
