Brett Finch, true pro & great captains performance

Post by Webby71 »

Apart from his top class display yesterday I thought Finch led us tremendously yesterday and showed great experience when early in the 1st half bentham called him over to tell him to inform his players they were on a warning for being offside, he strolled over wasting time then asked bentham to give him time to get back in line whilst he informs his players which he did (ive never seen any capt do this before) once again wasting time and giving us a break. Although Saints did score on the very next play, Ha Ha.

I thought Finch had a hell of a game with most of our go forward coming from his direction, I did however think that his chat to the players following Bentham calling him over led to a lack of concentration which allowed Soliola to score.
