Think although he wasn't here for a massively long stint Brian Fletcher deserves a mention

Andy Goodway as a pure second row.
Andy Farrell (yes I know he's better placed as no.13, but Hanley will pick that one up, and Faz was a fantastic second rwo when he played there)
Ryan Hoffman - Short spell, but what a player.

Bill Ashurst was the best second rower I've ever seen. Best in the world at the time only let down by him being slightly crazy.
Andy Goodway at his peak, was fantastic, best in the British game and probably as good as any Aussie or Kiwi.
It would have to be these two for me.

I'm with Jobo, Billy Ash And Gooders. One memory I have with Goodway was when I stood behind the stix in a Lancs Yorks battle and Gooders said to his Yorks team mates when Colin Whitfield was taking a penalty kick "If he kicks this I' ll ££££ him". He did and he did!

Id only have Mick in if he agreed never to wear a head guard, he used to constantly drop the ball take his head guard of and never dropped it lolmichael inch stoke wrote:Mick Cassidy
