Only just got in. Police aren't that bothered took them half an hour to get to us.
This type of behaviour gives decent Hull folk a bad name & tars them all with the same brush :exc:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Yes we were on the same coach it was the window at the back of my dads seat,my little lad was scared to death. It really soured a fab day, thought r fans were brilliant.
There's a thread about this on redvee. Some of the idiots on there believe Wigan fans ask for it. They say brigantes with scarves over their face were intimidating Hull fans, or something. Wasn't you was it Josie???
As for the police and this isn't a dig, they only seem to get involved if someone is seriously hurt and it hits the newspapers. You'd think with the same thing happening last year and several times over the years, they'd escort the coaches out of places like Hull. Longer things like this go on, the greater the risk of someone getting badly hurt.
Our coach was mainly older people, there were two teenage girls on, but definitely no Brigantes. And no one antagonised any Hull fans off our coach.
I didn't see any Wigan fans with scarves over their faces, but then we came out of the stadium & straight on the coaches.
