Wigan playing saints at widnes on sat 2-30 kick off
WIGAN TILL I DIE
Re: Wigan draw SAINTS home cup Quarter Final
Sooner it was at the egotist's DW but it seems inevitable that this will not be the case as the boys with the bendy ball get preferential treatment. We will stuff the stains no matter the venue. However it is about time that we got our own stadium and left the girls to play patacake patacake.I'm fed up of playing second fiddle to a second rate team that will always prop up the big boys.I would even pay a little extra money to watch my team in it's own stadium than continue pandering to I love myself Dave.Wigan is a Rugby Town not football town.

Sad really but what can we do. It does detract from the cup / tie too.
Reebok rather than Widnes?

Re: Wigan draw SAINTS home cup Quarter Final
if we have to give up home advantage, then i for one will not be going.and i hope many more say the same i know it football rules that no sport can be played 24hrs before a football game, but whats wrong with friday night theres only eastenders on :exc:

I would personally prefer that if the game was moved. The last football game at the Reebok is this Sunday.cpwigan wrote:Sad really but what can we do. It does detract from the cup / tie too.

Sorry Warrior..didn't mean to offend anyone..just making100% Warrior wrote:Nice sentiment from Derms but truth be told as a season ticket holder I shouldn't be expected to shell out additional funds for travel, etc for a home cup match.
I know I've got the ticket to pay for but any additional cost just isn't on.
a bit of amusement out of the predicament we seem to be in.
Hope no one is inconvenienced in any way, whatever happens.
Apologies if it seemed that way

Somehow the prospect of playing at the Reebok with it's wide pitch and proper grass does seem more appealing than the prospect of going into Cheshire (again) for another fixture moved through no fault of the supportersMr Stu wrote:I would personally prefer that if the game was moved. Personally I think it should be on Friday night and the BBC will have to accept it and go elsewhere.
They care very little about the sport which they demonstrate at every opportunity. Why bend to the will of a body that does not care...sod em...and sod the horse they rode in on.
I see the most of the popular press are touting Leigh as an 'alternative venue'. Maybe they forgot that Leigh have to play Leeds on the same weekend. :baaa:
