Make sure that we get an away draw? In all seriousness there is no way to avoid this situation but the RFL should be able to schedule SL games that don't clash with the Latics home fixtures. IFL needs to lobby the RFL about this issue if he hasn't already done so.

The RFL are fully aware of possible fixture clashes, hence they take account of that when devising a SL fixture list.

The RFL recently renegotiated the CC Sponsorship BEING FULLY AWARE OF POSSIBLE FIXTURE CLASHES

So something is badly awry at the RFL

Mind you this is an organisation that gave away its premier competition naming rights for a few ghost HGVs instead of money.

How hard was it for the RFL to insert a clause that the BBC would be given priority over scheduling of televised CC ties UNLESS a fixture clashes with a Premier League fixture.

Why, do the RFL, when making these fixtures, have to have them played in the space of two weeks apart for rounds four, five & six then about six weeks to the semi then about another four or five weeks to the final.
And WHY, for God's sake, play one round on the final weekend of the Premier League??
