let's all sing together - Rallying Call

Post by onedego »

Howdy folks. I've just been wandering the forums of the rugby league world, and i've come across our neighbours intention to "Out Sing" the Wiganers in tomorrows game.

I'd therefore ask, whether you are on-side with The Brigantes or not, to lay that to one side join in the singing tomorrow. I'm not saying the only people who start songs are The Brigantes, but it's obvious that they are a major presence in the games. Join with them, raise the roof and blow St Helens out of the DW Stadium, lift our boys on the field and dampen their squad, and let's all win this together! All it takes is a few people in each stand to catch on to the words and sing along, and as if by magic the whole place is alive.

Let's have it, and let's get back to Wembley!

Iam sure lots of people dont know the words its a pity some of the words couldnt have been printed up and handed out before the game. I think we should raise the roof off with the noise and smash the scousers all over gods green acre, come on everybody lets make this the best derby ever and get behind our boys.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Why not put the words to a couple of songs on here?

Cherry & White is in our blood
Ancient & Loyal until we die da da da da....

We are the Boys, still at the top ?????

If someone can fill in the rest of this one I just have bits of it

Hope evreyone gets behind the team. Experienced some fantasic atmospheres over the years but also occasions where it was embarrasing to be at home! Some supporters just don't seem to want to get involved and makes me wonder why they go to the games-might as well watch it at the pub/home.
Nothing wrong with the old WIGAN WIGAN especially when everyone gets involved and I know the players love it.
Remember Manly - the whole stadium roared wigan on that night-the atmosphere was white hot and definately lifted the players to a higher level.

If you want everyone singing together then the simple chants are always going to be the best for that - everyone one know them, you don't have to think about whether you're singing the right words and they make a bigger noise when you just shout one word rather than sing a big chorus.

I think those are the words. It's what I sing anyway :D
Those are the words I sing, but was never sure if they were the proper ones that every one else sang
