and when the jjb gets filled and every one is chanting it really lifts the players and when they lose every one moans so why not get to evry home match and try and push them on to victory more fans means louder chanting which means the players will rise to the occasion so come try get to matches!!!!

Bradford give around 2000 tickets out to school children every week. This boost the crowd and will build an atmosphere.
I no if we did that the kids wouldnt have to pay £8 to get in but they would spend money at the food kiosk.
I also think we could do something like wigan athletic(sorry to mention them on the site!) but they open JJ's cards out to under 13's and you get a card for £1 and get in to every home match for £2.
Any more ideas??

i personally agree wigan should produce a card for the yonger warrior fans that could cost £2 and then they could pay a pound a match but people would say they would lose money only a pound but every kid wants some thing to eat or drink in a match dont they i agree with rugby nelly any other ideas

The cost for children is the reason we do not go to as many games as we would like, when you have two children who insist on going to games it works out at around £48 just to sit down (East stand, my husband has bad eyesight!!).
If the kids were £1 to get in then we would go to all the games, so the club would be gaining £30 per game and I know other parents who feel the same.

I have written to the club and to Maurice Lyndsay but they obviously feel thay know better, but I am sure that reducing the ticket prices for children is the only way to not only get the present gates up, but also to ensure a good fan base for the future

Apart from the fact that almost everyone on here who can geographically get to matches does go, I think you are wrong about the reasons for Bradford's success. Thanks to the salary cap we have exactly the same amount of money to spend on wages as all the other clubs (carefully avoiding the upcoming announcement from RFL about salary cap infringements last year as mentioned in League Express this week). More fans in the JJB won't mean more money, indeed the club should have lots more dosh this year than last with the lowering of the cap.

Quite how the likes of Bradford maintain such a squad when we've had to make huge cuts in playing staff is a bit of a mystery, but perhaps their stars aren't paid as well as ours?

Wanny thats sick!! :P

My little sister really wants to go the rugby but because shes only 5 it would cost too much for me her my mum and dad, I think it's good that under 18's get free away matches but surely at 5 years old, you shouldnt have to pay as much as you do when your 12/13 and understand the game a bit more. she'd probably just want to get up and eat chocolate through the match but then again thats the reason i used to go to central park when i was realy little and then I actually got interested in the game and now look! :) If prices were a little lower she'd definitly be able to come with us but at the moment its not possible and its a shame :( She always asks if we've won when we get home and then she sings..Saints are rubbish saints are rubbish :>
