I still hope we are favourites
After reading this quote - and particularly the fact that the Aussie Press think he could be 'Man of Steel' and Wigan to win the lot - I'm a bit more optimistic.
I hope I'm not disappointed. :exc: :exc: :exc:

Please somebody tell me he's staying!!

I'll be wounded if we lose him. Give him a 3 year deal. Whatever it takes.

He is interested in doing media work when he does finish playing, and he could also be interested in coaching. I don't know who he's going to be playing for next year
He'd have to have a frontal lobotomy to come down to the Sky space monkey's level :doz:

We need him to stay 100%, he is truly a class act, end of story. If he does leave I will be gutted but if it is back to the NRL I will understand, if he leaves for another SL club then it is unforgivable on IL's part.

"I've still To make a decision!

Obviously you'd think this is my last contract so I want to make sure I do the right thing by myself - and the club as well.

They've been great with me so hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later, whatever decision I make.

Finch hinted if he did leave, he would be returning to the NRL.

I think it's be hard to play against Wigan. It's be hard to leave this place. It's a really enjoyable place to work, a great bunch of guys."

I hope the Brigantes instigate some Finchy chants next few game and IL loosens his purse strings.

Saints handed a 4 year deal to Ho Ho Hiya so that doesn't surprise me. If that's what its come down to, I reckon we'll win the contest.

In 2009, we only offered George a one year deal. Saints offered 2. Not only did we give him what he wanted, we talked him into a 3rd year. Surely lessons were learned there!

:D Sounds like one of the 7 dwarfs! Think Eddie & Co have difficulty with his name as it always sounds to me like they mutter Ohio in the hope of getting away with it
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
