I'm sure he must be giving it some thought. The lad just gets better as he gets older!

I am not convinced. I am not normally negative and I wanted him to play on this year but I think fans tend to bring emotion into it when bodies don't work on emotion.
I hope George makes the right decision for George and the club.

For me there's only one reason why George shouldn't go around again and that's purely how George feels about going around again.
Physically he's never looked better IMO and he's still one of if not the best centre in the League.
If it's right for him then I say say we offer him a decent one year contract and allow him to do what he's done for us so far this year.
I know I'm stating the bloody obvious here but George really is the only one who can make this decision. He's been probably the best signing for Wigan for years in terms of value and if he wants another year I think we owe him the right to pick and chose his future, such has been his service and commitment to the club.
I'd personally love to see him in cherry and white again provided that he's mentally and physically up to it.

With the way that he is playing at the moment (and the way that he completely skinned shenton and the slug at the magic, this was always going to be a possibilty.
I think that he is one of the best signings for the club in the Superleague era and is easily one of the best centres in the league - which is reflected in him playing for the exiles.
I think that he might have to miss a few more matches next year - however, if he wants another year then with a lot of experienced heads leaving next year, we would be mad to say no.

I agree. He looks better this year than last.Kiwiseddon wrote:For me there's only one reason why George shouldn't go around again and that's purely how George feels about going around again.

It would certainly help given the experience we are losing even if he didn't start every game.
