We have to remember that we are playing the nrl also rans plus a few like lulu and Lima. A lot of players never connected tonight. Where was ablett? JJB never showed up. Lulu was injured in a nothing game. The majority of the work was Wigan players. War of the roses sounds good to me. Jim

Gutted but now we have a chance to find out if one of the kids is good enough to step into Tommys boots for next season before we waste a lot of money on Chase.

I'm absolutely fuming about this nothing game which could de-rail our aim for trophies.

Sh*te game, meant nothing, had no intensity, nobody cared, and was watched by so few, it was embarassing!

Not looking forward to the next one which is MID-WEEK, right near our Challenge Cup Semi!

Did anybody else notice the three muppets in the studio smirking when talking about the Tommy injury - particularly Hemmings who was practically laughing!

Also, was Lima injured as well???

I thought it was a crap game and over 11,000 there to see it on a bad weather day.
I'll not be going to the next one after this..

Unbelievable yet utterly predictable at the same time

Absolutely fuming - we should sue the rfl!

I'm just watching the game now after being out. Seeing Tommy injured has made me give even less of a shit about this awful game. Didn't mind seeing the result as the result didn't matter anymore.

It looked bad. Very bad.

Apparently from SSN Daniel Anderson speculated it could be 8 weeks for Tommy, considering how bad it looked I would take 8 weeks now, it looked more season ending to me!!

We play Wire on 12th August. that is probably too soon if it is an 8 week injury.

Challenge Cup final is 25th August with Salford away the week before.

Injuries happen but for this to happen in such a meaningless, awful game is what really hurts.

I cant see many Exiles players wanting to take part in future games as no matter how McNamara or the RFL want to hype it up many Exiles players couldnt care less about the game or the concept. It is a get together, have a few BBQ's and a catch up. As it was many players pulled out with 'injuries', Carmont was never going to play and I was told this long before the Catalan game and I was also told that others who did play wanted to pull out too. What has happened to Tommy will certainly bring home the dangers of playing in what is a nothing game and poptentially ruining your season for nothing. I am sure that many of those players that had doubts but played anyway will now just say no.
