Firstly, we did deserve to lose the game. We weren't good enough.
Sam T sometimes has to remember that he's just a rugby player and doesn't have God's gift. He's good but he made two absolute clangers at the start of the game which really set the tone.
We were also terrible in defence and looked second best all game. It's simply down to our class (in bits) that allowed us to be as close as we were.

However……. We lost by 11 points and there is no doubt that three of their tries should have been disallowed and Thaler made a point of penalising us out of the game and not going to the video ref when he should. There is a real argument that says that he cost us the game, statistically.

The whole game was a f*****g nightmare and I haven't been this angry about a loss for ages.
Leeds were good but Wigan were God awful. It shows how average they are that they couldn't kill us, which they should have done today.

Oh well. The league it is then. It will galvanise us and we wil come back stronger. If ever I had a case for dismantling the Exiles game it's now. Lulu has been a massive loss and he might have been the difference today.

Pains me to say but well done Leeds. They did deserve it. Kills me though!!
I agree with that, we didn't deserve to win, but on another day with a different ref it would have been very tight. The knock on try really took our momentum away in the second half.

I know the ball steal penalty is probably the other 6 points you mean, but what's the third decision you're thinking of?
Forward pass for their second.

What a silly statement. Wigan wanted it just as much as Leeds they just did not play well.

Spare us your pedantry, none of us needs it right now. And you knew exactly what he meant!

Playing players that were some way from 100% fit was asking for trouble. Hindsight is wonderful but perhaps we would have been better playing fully fit / match fresh players?

Did Leeds do anything special? played a Maguire game and got us on the backfoot with our own mistakes / awful officiating leaving us to play catch up throughout. Amazing, as bad as we played, the game was there for the taking. Can anybody see Wire not beating Leeds if they make it to Wembley?

Unfit players / bad officiating and possibly a preoccupation with Total RL as opposed to the basics (albeit when you are behind it happens more) cost us.

Onward and upwards and to the Hubcap / GF

Yes if Leeds repeat today's performance and Wire are missing MM and Briers!

But Wire aren't there yet!

You can blame the Ref, but we where just not at the races. Leeds came with a plan and stuck to it, i think our plan was written on the back of a fag packet. I agree that some of our players are not 100% fit, but having said that you should not allow a team to build that big a lead in a couple of minutes.

Well all ahead for the end of the season, finish top and take the Grand Final.

Sod the GF, it's a contrived cup of marketing nonsense, unlike the CC which has history, prestige and passion. I'm totally down about today. Yes we were a long way from our best, and some of our better players didn't perform as well as we have come to expect, and Sam gifted them two tries, but but but when the ref is responsible for giving your opponents 18 points it's a hell of a downer and a long way back. It's time the rfl came up with a way of sorting this out. Cricket has their appeals system, football is going to have goaline technology, American footy has two ref's and God knows what else. What do we have? weak, poor quality officials who match after match after match have a major impact on the final result. It really is just not good enough!!!
