on friday we really got behind the team and it did have an affect wigan never gave up and played better than i have seen them for ages. if the singers where all together the noise would be great.

like all our away matches i preffer away at moment thats why if we finish 6th :eusa10: i think by that time after 2 months of basils in put well do well (if we finish 6th) :sly:

if thats the case why dont we or sum one print sum words off and hand them out at games then we dont av an excuse for not singin and also it would create a good atmosphere????

A lot of people at the JJB though don't want to sing. I'm not sure why because I'm completely against sitting in silence and watching the game, I just can't do it but there's some that just come to watch the game and that'll do them fine, then there's the annoying ones that come to watch the game in silence but are dead against any sort of vocal support. I've heard it afew times in the south stand when people have been vocally supporting, others will be telling them to shut up or mocking them, if these people have paid and have the choice tosit in silence, then we also have the right to sing our hearts out, anyway I've completely gone off on one there as usual, can't be concise!

I would gladly print off those sheets and hand them out if I ever got to the match before kick off but I can't see it making any difference. A lot of youngsters like to sing at the games, it would be good for them to know the words to a few more songs they've no shame in singing loud with the rest of us and I would print the words off and take em to Maxs club tomorrow but there's just too many offensive songs. It would be a start though for them to know songs like "Wigan Road" and "...We're by far the greatest team..." etc I know a few of the long standing ones aren't as offensive.

wat about the really old ones who come and talk about the old times and how bad we are and only want to call the team for how bad we are i bumped in to 1 at hull onthe way back from the bar at half time and he was saying how bad we were i said to him look how young the lads out there are ,stop moaning and get behind the boys,as we all did in the 2nd half at hull and we all know wat happend then.couldnt find him at full time he was probs half way home by then,just shows how much the players can feel the force when we get behind them,like i can feel the force is good in coach we have now got ,ian the force will be with you now you have seen the light.

Oh cheers! Well, finished uni for a bit now so maybe I could make a nice little booklet for the kids to sing along, really try to get the JJB buzzing whoever we're playing.

Why don't you hand them in to Mick Hannon at the stadium.
I think that he would put them in the programme say one or two at a time.

When it gets round that the songs are printed it could put programme sales up as well. (thats what you tell Mick)
