Show me a good RL Ref
The Frenchman was not very good yesterdsy - it's OK to claim a bad ref after winning!

Unbelievable. If these are 'professionals then I'm a rocket scientist.

I still don't see what BenT ham could claim was wrong with the Cats challenge for the ball to disallow the last try, if anything Makinson jumped into and impeded the Cats player
I don't see on this one how you can blame Thaler - after all he referred the entire call over to the vid ref !
The decision was then made by him & nothing to do with Thaler, as a matter of fact.
To be honest, saints were the better side on the night and always threatened more in attack and looked more defensively set-up better. Cats looked to have run out of ideas with the ball in hand.
All in all it was a good match to watch and if anything I dont think the send-off was at all justified but that was down to the TJ's call.
I wasn't blaming Bent Haler, I was blaming the video ref BenT ham.
I agree though Stains were the better team overall, but that disallowed try would have given Cats the chance to win with the kick. The VR seriously affected the result of this game and I still can not see how it was not given

Video Ref was Ian Smith.

Sorry got my (wrong)information from RFL website, I was waiting in commentary for one of the clowns to say who it was but they didn't so I got straight onto RFL website as game finished.
Friday 20th July

Catalan Dragons v St Helens RLFC 9pm CET SKY
Ref B Thaler TJ T Martin TJ T Blanchys RR L Molinier RTJ F Cau VR P Bentham Masseur F Cau

In hindsight I take it these were the original appointments before Mr Bentham broke his leg.

Either way this game's final result was decided by an arbitary decision from a video ref and I still can't see why he disallowed the try.
