would people stop going to watch wigan if they got relagated to division 1
Re: Wigan losing fans
I personally wouldn't, no but I'm sure there are those that will. Having said that I'm very proud of our support this year, we've taken a lot away to each match and had over 10,000 for most home matches in a season where we haven't done much at all

Less than half the currant average.
It's bad enough paying through the nose now to watch this utter garbage without dropping a league!

I certainly wouldn't, but i imagine alot of people would. It would be a similar situation to that of Castleford, they still get bigger crowds than some of the SL clubs, but not as many as they got last year.moran123 posted:

Why the hell all this relegation talk? Everyone below us except Huddersfield will lose again this weekend so what's the problem? Also, we have to play all these teams and, IMO, we were improved - though not good enough - last time out. We can still make top 6 and with Rads and DV back, Scully, Carney and Orr shaking the rust off, plus many more weeks of Basil's coaching, we may even win a playoff game!!
Re: Wigan losing fans
Too right. If I were a betting man, and after winning something in 3 out of the last 4 games why not?!, then my money would be on Leigh and Wakefield for the drop. I really don't see us being in real danger of the drop at all, although it would be a big financial boost for the 1st division if we did drop down a league!jinkin jimmy posted:
