I have heard a rumour that the match has been moved for a hybrid match with Saracens and that Mr Wane is not impressed.

I must be missing something here. How could moving a game from Friday to Monday involve a match with Saracens?

As a result of this latest change, we have again got some of the childish idiot element of the Latic's support on the Wigan today website coming out with the usual nonsense about it being their stadium and the Warriors being tenants.

And no doubt the squatter's comments will be on RedVee. This is something that really pisses me off. We have as much right to the DW as the Latics as we pay our way. No way in the world could they support the place if they had it to themselves!

Let's put this into perspective, we are at the top of our game yet bring in less than £5m per season, the Latics earned over £50m last season, and if they stay up, the 2013/14 TV deal alone is worth £70m without including crowds or other commercial stuff.

If they went down they'd get £15m per season for 4 years, plus £10m from crowds & the Champ TV deal, we pay a couple hundred years thousands per season plus commission for use of the stadium If they went down they also need to fit in an extra 8 games plus potential play-offs.

To put things in even more perspective, Bradford City are a struggling league 2 club, yet are looking to buy the Bulls.

Im A supporter of both teams.
First-Why cant it be played Friday?
Second-Why not Sunday after the Latics game,that finishes at 3ish,easily get the Stadium ready for 5/6 o clock.
Note Leigh a few years ago,both teams played the same day,its not difficult.

A couple of observations should Latics get relegated. Firstly they play more games in the championship which increases the chances of fixture clashes plus has a negative impact on the playing surface. Secondly, despite the increase in number of games I suspect there would be an increase in the stadium costs that would be passed on to the Warriors. I agree that the current situation is not ideal and the uncertainty around when we can and can't host home games does not help but perhaps you need to be careful what you wish for.

Its a premier league row, so they would not have to change our games for the Latics. premier league state that a ground shared must give pref to them, its not a Fa rule so if they went down would it be so bad?

We wouldnt be passed the costs as our costs wouldnt go up. The latics costs would go down as their crowds would.
