Grasping straws with that one!OJ wrote:Reality is that Wire haven't won anything yet. We've certainly made it harder for ourselves but wont it be wonderful if we beat them by that single point. Anything can happen yet and good as they have been this season it doesn't mean to say they'll be able to get through the play offs as easily.

Can't believe people are still blaming that one game for our potential downfall. We had an 18 point lead TWICE in that game. If Josh had scored the easy penalty in the closing seconds, we'd have won. As has been said, other teams may have reacted differently had we taken those 2 points.

One concern to me is that we don't appear to have any cool heads out there. As soon as we go one score behind against a good team we're throwing suicidal passes, dropping simple balls, losing discipline etc.
We're either winning easily (albeit sloppily recently) or losing. We're not winning any tight games just now.
I'm actually pleased with 30-10 as I can only think of one time (Charnley) when we otherwise came close to scoring whereas any team, nevermind Warrington, could easily score 40-50 against a team playing as badly as we did last night.

To be fair TBW, there's a lot more to say and analyse when we lose. It's easy, and somewhat meaningless, to say 'great 50 metre run from Charnley', or 'fantastic twisting run from Sam' when it's obvious and we all saw it'. I post more when we lose rather than fill the board with celebratory comments.

at the end of the day we lost the game, finchy is lost without tommy, and was unfit, but lets face it we have 3 games left, salford h , hkr a, and stains at home, wire have london a, hudds then widnes, but smug shite smith is known to rest players in "easy games" so the london game with wembley the week after could be a banana skin so could giants the week after, i think the game we could slip on is rovers away. but the point is and lets face it we could end up top and still get nothing as previous years have proven, but have faith in the lads i think we will do it, pat sposed to be back for salford then tommy expected for hkr and fielden in 3 week we are going into play offs with a good strength outfit

Like I said it was just an observation and again you pay your money you can say what you like, it is a forum.
Suppose I am just being grumpy in my own way after yesterday's defeat.

That is why we miss Tommy so much in my opinion, and nobody misses him as much as Finch.Alex the Warrior wrote:One concern to me is that we don't appear to have any cool heads out there.
