I bet we'd struggle to have followed that game. RL has evolved over 100 years. I imagine 2 years after the split, the game would still be largely the same.

It would have been very easy to keep Lima, we could have said NO TO HIS REQUEST TO BREAK HIS THREE YEAR CONTRACT. I've never subscribed to the idea that players have all the powers and contracts are only one sided.We could have threatened Lima that we would continue to play him every week and he would run the risk of doing an injury to himself if he did not train up to match fitness and run hard in every game, after all we continually hear that injuries are caused when players 'ease off' in the latter stages of a game
