First and foremost, Sam and Tommy were both asked what they thought and gave an honest answer. This is nothing more than freedom of speech and they should have every right to express their opinion.
One of my biggest bugbears is that when farcicle decisions get made (MM) that more is not said. I firmly believe that while a club should not be derogatory about the RFL, they should be questioning bad decisions on a highly vocal level. To all the media sources that will listen.
If the RFL were then asked to justify their stance by the media publicly in say a press conference it would certainly force them to be sure of their decisions. I think that players saying things like this is very important and especially in the case of Sam T. He is the RL Golden boy and will continue to be in the media spotlight, raising the profile of the game. When he says the RFL disciplinary are a joke, people will listen and may be the RFL will finally have some questions to answer.

And let's be honest, the inconsistency with which they conduct their little boys club beggars belief.

Incidentally, is Gary Hetherington on the disciplinary. I heard that he was but don't know if it's true. If so how can someone like him make independent decisions about other teams. That just seems corrupt. A word that has been said a few times now.
"K"

"But look at, look at Lydon go here...Remniscent of those two great tries when he won the Lance Todd... He's got Hanley inside him. He's going all the way..........."

Earlier in the season, a rota of those on the disciplinary committee was available to everyone on the RFL website, but now it is restricted to certain people. I wonder why?

The links below indicate what should happen. There is no mention of Gary Hetherington being on the panel.

I was just trying to be funny. Even then I come across as a dick.
I thought it was just me, glad you agree.

It will be interesting to see what the RFL Rules/Laws have to say about these sort of comments - they bound to have something that covers it.
Free speech as long as you don't criticise the RFL!!
