WIGAN TV

Is it only or does anyone else find the new 'Wigan TV' proposition a complete and utter joke?? In fact as a season ticket holder i believe that we should have free access to our clubs video content and not be held to the ransom of a monthly subscription......

Don't be a tight arse. It's a new service and offers extra, and it's less than half a tank of petrol and it lasts for a year.

That is of course if you can get the bloody website to work. On 3 separate occasions it's refused my email address, then told me it's already in use. Then I subscribed as a season ticket holder and it's ignored that and put me on the full rate. Which I baulked at in spite of the above. And finally I live in England, not the USA, so why do they need my State and not my county????
Sort it out Wigan!

Hi....this is my first post so be gentle with me ( I've been a member for ages but not posted).

I thought I'd let you know I had trouble getting the £35 season ticket holder rate when I was subscribing to the TV so I emailed them. The relevant part of their reply was:

" On the payment page you need to enter your season ticket number and first name (738273.......) into the coupon code box". The first name is the one shown on your season ticket. As I remember the coupon code box was near the top of the page?

Should be free to season ticket holders as we pay enough with season tickets, cup/play off prices and in many cases, away travel and admission.

I agree with you Whelley Warrior, it should be free to season ticket holders, we commit to watching Wigan every season, so this should be seen as a thank you from the club. We get very little else as a reward.

Whilst it would be lovely to get lots of free extras thrown in with our season ticket, we need to remember that the club is a business. I would imagine that season ticket holders are the target audience for this product so they might as well not bother with what it will cost to set up and produce the product if we're all getting it for free. To give it us for free they might consider increasing season ticket prices, and then the people who don't want this product would moan about prices increasing. You should see it as an optional extra, like if you order your meal and want a side salad.

I'd go back to the questions being asked above about what the package actually involves?
