Wane is a fantastic coach, we need to keep him, lets not forget we was 4 minutes from getting to the grand final!

Yep thats true gilly, we have won the most rewarding trophy in my opinion, it was just a great game, could of gone either way and had Finch hit the drop goal we could of been talking about the grand final, i think we have had a great season
Re: SACK SW NOW
Thank God for a bit of common sense coming into the discussion.
Although I do believe next season will be make or break for SW.

What utter rubbish. We scored two tries to their one.It was a clsssic semi made by both teams.Full back played very well and bodes well for future.Just a thought if no. of points were increased to 5 the game would be won by the team scoring the most tries thus reflecting the whole ethos of the game of Rugby League. Just a thought.

I wish all those who still think Michael Maguire was God Almighty would realise that we have won just as many trophies under Shaun Wane as we did under Madge in 2011 when he decided to jump ship - ok he's made mistakes but at least he wont walk out on us half way through his contract if someone makes him a better offer, he loves Wigan RL just as much as we do. Aussie coaches undoubtedly have their good points but I would rather have someone who is passionate about this great club any day of the week than someone who would leave us at the drop of a hat

How do you arrive at that conclusion?OJ wrote:I wish all those who still think Michael Maguire was God Almighty would realise that we have won just as many trophies under Shaun Wane as we did under Madge -
Re: SACK SW NOW
It was a long depressing drive home yesterday evening. But at no time did it enter my head that Wane must go!It was something along the lines that our first half performance was utter shite! We got knocked on our arses for most of the first half.Ball retention was almost zero because we did not have the damned ball in the first place.Potb was much quicker than ours and Sinfield's kicking game was what was only to be expected from him in the big games.Would you be saying the same thing if we had won the game? Of course you would not.It seems from some of your previous posts you are a prevaricator and like to stir it.The team entered the field of play with a game plan but either did not execute it or where not allowed to play the game we wanted.Yes I agree with several posters on here that Wane as things to learn. And I'm sure that he will learn from this loss.Remember how many people on here screamed for his head with the loss to the vikings? And look what Wane as achieved only won us the league leaders shield for being the most consistent team in super league.Of course your entitled to voice your opinion Kol just the same as others on here. But please do try and engage your brain before shooting off at the mouth.Or better still. Leave the old sauce on the sideboard it obviously does not agree with you.Kol wrote: WHY THE HELL DID HE NOT PICK PAT RICHARDS TO FB??????

Absolute rubbish. The majority of the seaon has bben a joy to watch, look at the points for and against. Last season Maguire went backwards rapidly compared to his first year and our play was boring to bits.
Last nights game finally depended on the absurd penalty given against HH at the PTB, absolutely nothing in it. For my money as well Hock in both the game against Stains and last night has been a shadow of the player he normally is, I am sure he is carrying an injury and that should see him withdrawing from the England team for these inane matches next month.

Badly worded on my part - I meant last year compared to thisKittwazzer wrote:How do you arrive at that conclusion?OJ wrote:I wish all those who still think Michael Maguire was God Almighty would realise that we have won just as many trophies under Shaun Wane as we did under Madge -
