NRL Grand Final - Do not read if youve recorded it!

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

NRL Grand Final - Do not read if youve recorded it!

Post by Kittwazzer »

This brand of Rugby League certainly puts our sanitised version to shame. I can understand why Jeff Lima had his problems when he first arrived. He must have wondered what the hell he had come to!

James Graham having an awesome game apart from trying to bite off Billy Slater's ear!

Come on you Storm!

The speed and skill on show from the storm is breathtaking, as for James Tyson graham, you can take the boy out of Sthelens but you can't take the St. Helens out the boy. Graham will get a lengthy ban for that bite.

Who ever plays the winner of this game will get battered, speed skill commitment and shape in bucketfuls.

One of the best parts of the game is the two referees, they let the game flow when needed to but when any infringements happened they jumped on it, just wish the rfl would look to adopt this system, the rfl should do a referee swap system bringing some of the nrl referees over here and get rid of our halfwitts down to Australia, I sure this would increase the standard of officiating over here and long term would improve the British game, won't happen though coz red hall are to short minded to do anything like this.

Unfortunately we don't have enough referees as it is. But could you imagine a Grand Final with both Ganson & Silverwood strutting and preening, each trying to be top dog!

Well done Melbourne Storm on a fantastic game of rugby league & a big well done to the officials for great refereeing.

Also the commentators, how good to listen to them commentating on the game instead of talking between themselves about everything except play :)

:eusa2: :eusa2:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not all good though Josie. Did you catch that remark “we'll be right back after these!”? Spoke to a lad watching it in Oz and he said that they have about 4 ad breaks in each half. Ironic that we get uninterrupted coverage over here!

Personally I don't see the point. If my enjoyment of a game was spoiled by any company's advert, I'd make a point of never doing business with them! :o

Yes, but it has always been like that. I just commented on the uninterrupted game I was watching here :)
