I'm not sure what Leeds winning the final has to do with whether you buy a season ticket.

Leeds could have won the final with every single playoff system the Super League has had - there have always been at least 5 teams in the playoffs. Nothing has changed.

I think people are deflated because we didn't win the two improtant matches against Leeds that we had. Nothing to do with the playoffs or the league structure IMO.

I wonder if Wigan fans back in 1960 complained when we won the Championship from fourth position and 13 points behind the top team?

So when we were, were we crowned league champions?

My two arrived yesterday, Saturday.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Take a look at the club website at the number of non playing staff and you will see why prices have escalated over the last two seasons. Far too many administration staff compared to the days at Central Park.

I don't think that is true. The current system leaves the league and playoffs far too disconnected.

I don't think you can escape the fact that a top five system means you have to compete for league position whereas the current top 8 format means you don't.

There is little disadvantage to finishing 5th and it's is arguably better then finishing 4th. You can lose league games into double figures and still have much more of a chance of winning the competition than you would in a top 5 system due the advantages teams higher up get in a top 5 compared to the top 8 never mind how much harder it is for the 5th based team.

To say there would still be 5 teams in the play offs so Leeds could have won it with whatever system is a gross over simplification IMO and I think people have twigged the league is rather pointless.

We know already at least four teams who will make up the top eight and where they finish in that top eight is of little consequence.

I have renewed my ticket but whether this will be the last season I do so or not depends on how the games are played not whether we win the GF from 1st, 5th or 8th. If as is often advocated Wane & Co play the percentages and rest players regularly in the knowledge we are likely to lose games as a result and I turn up to see reserve sides then I can't justify the expense for another year.

I don't go to games to watch the side lose and console myself afterwards that it doesn't really matter anyway in the grand scheme of things if they do.

If that is the way things are going to be I may as well follow the team via the statistics. Provided we win enough to get into the top eight that would be all that matters.

I am going to renew my season ticket on line.
I also want for the first time to buy a season ticket for car park 3,
I have downloaded the form but the form is asking for the reg NO, make of car, also the colour.
We have 2 cars and due to our jobs we don't always use the same car going to the games.
Dose anyone know if I can put both cars on the form or not.
I have emailed the club but as yet no reply.
I don't think you can. I have had a car park pass since they came out (and was rather annoyed to see the price go up £4 this year!) and you have to write your reg number on the pass itself.

I can't see the club sending two out for you as you could just give it to a mate and both get the parking for £19.50.

You could always write two reg numbers on and if it's ever queried say why. They never check the reg number on the way in. You just wave the pass at the stewards and so long as its this seasons colour they wave you on in.

Just as an aside, Man. Utd. have still some season tickets for sale after 10 games. Don't they realise that yesterdays spectators no longer have the money for these extravaganzas?
