cpwigan.
No problem with Hock as I think he is a great player but the fact remains that a few seasons ago when Maurice Lindsay was in charge, he went missing for a period and it had nothing to do with having a injury or suspension.

Hock was booked onto the flight to USA. The only thing preventing him from going was his injury.Whelley Warrior wrote:During the days of Maurice Lindsay, Hock under his other name of Charnock went missing for a spell and then re-appeared as Hock. At the time of his absence, I was told that he was in a young offenders centre for offences to do with cars's. If this true, then he would not be allowed into the USA as he would indeed have a criminal record. Does anyone know if this correct?

we don't stop playing because we grow old ....... we grow old because we stop playing
Re: Hock Injured
Has anyone else heard a rumour about Hock. I heard something about a lapse of discipline and that it's the final straw and he's been sacked.
Don't shoot the messenger, it's just something I've heard and wondered if there was anything in it?

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
