I've been out the army for 5yrs now, I remember the beatings like they where yesterday and if I think about some of the hard sessions we had to do my body starts to hurt.

Madge did it, Waney does it BOTH under Bitcon who is outstanding in his area of expertise. Nothing wrong with what is taking place IMO (Opinion of a nobody with zero expertise)

Seems hard but it will do them No harm , I can see where Wane is comImg from with his explication of the reasons behind the training , after a warm week
Or so in Florida , back to reality quickly .

I recon it will Be colder in Hull this coming weekend than in the lakes of Rivvi

Wane has more idea than those who spend their time moaning that he has no idea.

I am sure the same was said about criticism of Brian Noble which in the end was proved well founded. It is allowed to have an opinion without having the tired old the coach knows better than you argument trotted out. Otherwise we may as well just turn this site into a shrine to SW and IL.

That said I don't have an issue with Wane doing the Marine training thing. Seems OK to me!

What I wasn't very impressed with last season were reports that he was doing full contact training all last season which as I understand it goes against modern sports science thinking. We will see if he changes that in 2013.

No because he knew what he was doing - he inherited a mediocre squad and won two trophies.

Correct. And IMO, his first year with just the addition of Deacon outshone his second one with his 3 Storm buddies!
