You're right Dave - it's the kiss of death!DaveO wrote:Then he must be going somewhere.eccywarrior wrote:hes not going nowhere.....

I remember when Dean Bell has his development role up until the mid 00s. If you ever heard him say in public "you wouldn't believe the skills he has on the training ground" then you could virtually hear the bell toll in the background for that player. :sly:

So he'll end up at Saints via Widnes or Salford! Sean Long Part 2?

All this because of the WEP listening to rumours and then publishing them in order to sell their rubbish newspaper.
Re: Hock to Salford subject to takeover?
Massive fan of Gareth Hock but it does seem as though the writing may well be on the wall as far as his future at Wigan. We can only speculate on the real reasons for the supposed unrest. Is it a clash of personalities a disagreement regarding other players, coach, chairman or whatever. But these kind of rumours do the club no good at all.If Gareth is a disruptive influence as intimated a couple of times then it's time we terminated his contract.Though I am reluctant to utter these kind of words. What we and every club need is a team that is solid in every way.I can understand the club's reluctance to broadcast the goings on within the club. But it does make me ask who is to blame if indeed there is unrest. Not that I am going to get any answers.

It most definitely hasn't.Jules wrote:When by Friday evening Hock fails to be sacked, sign for Widness, be abducted by Aliens, any other excuse that may stop him from playing for Wigan this season, can we please lock this thread.
It has run its course.
Heard the truth from a family member of one of the first team squad. If anyone seriously thinks Hock will play for Wigan in the forthcoming season, ask yourself this question. Why did Wigan give his shirt number to Liam Farrell?
