He has not been disciplined / fined for anything by the club.
Hock can either be sold at a later date OR return under a new coach. The pressure to deliver success in 2013 has been increased tenfold upon Waney. So what happens to Hock depends on Waney delivering or not delivering the degree of success IL demands.

Re: Hock Injured
Money has been an issue but nowhere near the extent one imagines. Hock is on very good money at Wigan but nothing like several others. He was offered far more last season for example by Widnes.Whelley Warrior wrote:If you were Hock, would you want to go to Salford or Widnes when you were still a member of a International Squad?
I think not unless I was getting the bulk of the money allowed in the salary cap
Re: Hock Injured
I am amazed that no one is dissapointed that Gaz Hock is leaving the club after they stood by him in his hour of need. I am sure that the club gave him a wage throught the period he was suspended, and I am sad that the trust given to him and the help has not been appreciated. I spoke to Gaz and he said the club had been really good to him, so I would really like to know the truth behind the present situation.
Re: Hock Injured
The truth CP is that clubs have extra money for special players, but if you play the Dutch Auction more clubs like Salford and Bradford would be down that road. Maybe if he had waited a year till Sam leaves, then there would be money in the kitty, but as you know we can only spend the salary cap we have in any one year.

Re: Hock Injured
Anyone would think that Hock was the greatest player in the game.
Good yes, but a liability at times.

He's a match winner/game changer though and it's never good losing one of those.Whelley Warrior wrote:Anyone would think that Hock was the greatest player in the game.

One thing we will miss massively if he has gone is his aggression. We leave ourselves open to being bullied. Leeds and Warrington will exploit this with a much bigger more senior pack.
Only mcilorum has natural aggression left in our pack in my opinion.
Re: Hock Injured
Sorry but Liam Farrell is nowhere near the player that Hock is, if Hock does go anywhere he will be a big loss and Leeds, Saints and wire will be rubbing their hands in anticipation of facing wigan without Hock in the side.

I concur, but unfortunately logic and self preservation has deserted Wigan RLFC. Sorry but Warriors is a figment of Mo's vision but not mine!slimshady wrote:Sorry but Liam Farrell is nowhere near the player that Hock is, if Hock does go anywhere he will be a big loss and Leeds, Saints and wire will be rubbing their hands in anticipation of facing wigan without Hock in the side.
