But they didn't so that just does not apply does it?
Come on, the team did a clinical job on them and was a good warm up for next week against the Wire.
Nilling any team even one in Salfords state is always a good thing to do.

The game was like another friendly really so I think we should be thankful for that given next weeks opposition and the fact Wane didn't give our new half backs enough of a run out in the friendlies we did have.

The Saints result is a pleasant shock :D I always expect Brown's teams to make a flying start to a season then fall apart as the season progresses. Big wake up call.

No, you're right CP. Brown just forgot which team he was coaching!

I thought he went well, put fazed away with a very finch Esq pass. Attacked the line on numerous occasions and looks to be complimenting smith well.

He has lots of potential IMO (Green) just suprised we seem to play him left side for lots of the game. All the highlight for KR show him as a righty and far more dangerous on that side.

I think Green played on the right for Rovers because Dobson was already at the club and he prefers playing on the left. I don't think it makes a huge difference to Green's game as he seems to be equally as good on either side of the pitch. Sam Powell is similar in his ability to pass very well to his left and right.
Cherry watch the You Tube highlights on Green for Hull KR his left to right pass and runs are far better than his right to left. Watch the highlights of last night game, a Tomkins try. Green goes right to left IIRC, the passes are not great ball comes back left to right and he puts a far better pass for Sam to score.

What is Smithy a righty or lefty?
