Wigan v Wire

12-10 half time. Impressed so far.

Wire 2nd try was a disgrace. Atkins never went for the ball!

Sorry KW but everytime I see a post from you it reminds me of the 'Sikh as a Parrot' thread from last year, I nearly pissed myself haha.

On topic: we seem to be playing smart RL, still a full half to go but pace of the play the ball is excellent. Young lads standing up and playing well I think. Darrell Goulding stand out for me though.

Had to work tonight just got home. It sounds like when Warrington get to our 20 they score (by any means) whilst Wigan build and build and build.

Hope we hold out.

Wow. I'm going to bed :)

I said we would get battered but I am proved wrong. Credit to the Wigan club being underdogs on paper and what a pulsating second half. Just hope we get injuries back and recover quick.

I'm made up how our 'kids' stood up to the Wire pack. Never took a backward step. Game was played at 100 mph from start to finish and highlighted how Wire's ageing team can't compete at that speed.

Well done guys! :D

forwards really stood up well tonight - proved my doubts wrong

Mossop, Dudson, Taylor lead down the middle
Still dont like flower at prop but he made some great runs and some good yards

Farrell showed what he is - am 80 minute engine man

Burke - what a showing - brings size to the second row

liked it

but where was Prescott?

I took us to win on the vote and in my opinion we just shaded it. Does it tell is how the rest of the season will go? Not really! Am I proud of every single player tonight? Absolutely! Goulding is a class act. Can wire get better than they were last season? Probably not but still a very good team! Can we improve? Absolutely! Bring on the rest of the season and again well done boys!!
