I know its a long shot, but i get excited everytime we play St Helens and i dont see why i should start thinking any different.

For the first time in my life I would greet a loss to Saints as a blessing.

If we win, we have another match to play in the CC at least and I don't think our threadbare squad I can take it. More opportunites to pick up injuries while our rivals down at the bottom have another week off.

What do you want? A victory over Saints in the cup or SL rugby next season? I don't think a win over Saints does anything to help us secure the latter. Just the opposite.

well i have paid for my ticket for sunday, and i wouldnt be going if i had the defeatist attitude that you seem to have Doug.

Shall we just pass a message onto the team now telling them that we dont believe in them and they should go out to lose.

I understand that we have a weak team at the moment (i am a season ticket holder so i do watch the matches) and that we go into the match as big underdogs, BUT without a little bit of belief that we can win what is the point in even supporting Wigan. Shall i sell my ticket now and watch the tennis on Tv instead?
