Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not ideal but an improvement on Roby/Hicks.

Coming to summat when that's how we judge our refs!

Another match with no Thaler. Someone up there is seeing sense.

Wasn't it him who cocked up big-time in Widnes v Wakey?

Genuine question - I thought he gave Wakefield advantage after a Wakey knock-on and then failed to bring it back when the advantage was lost. Was he right in what he did?

Hicks was fielding questions on @RFLReferees today. I quite like the concept. No doubt football will copy it in 10 years time!

Could be worse, could be Ben Thaler. No time for the man.

On the refs twitter thing he said they missed the Sykes knock on. I'm not buying it, I think they forgot about the rule. One of those situations where video ref could have quickly pulled it up.

It looks like they all had a go. Silverwood said something like 'yes the Wigan 1st try was a forward pas on reflection and there was also a forward pass in build up to Hull's 3rd try too.' I think that might have shut up the person who thinks that only one forward pass was missed in a whole Super League game. They miss loads...unfortunately

He'll have to make sure there are not 14 Salford players on the pitch at any time

Unfortunately, Salford are not competitive, for a number of reasons, so they could have 20 on the field and and still get beaten
Hope this doesn't come back to bite me after 9.30 on Friday evening !
