I agree when Wigan play someone like london or widnes i wouldnt expect it to be on tv but look at last weekend
Wakefield vs Widnes on sky
chosen over
Wigan vs Hull FC
So 2 teams with little hope of winning anything against 2 contenders for GF.
If we are serious about publising the game we need to show the top teams, i know the lower teams need exposure but the should be at least 1 or the 2 games that features a top team clash. I just feel (and maybe it is a perception rather than fact) that wigan just dont seem to be getting the coverage this year

All the club's have to have a share of the coverage of the game and the choice is not always on the best match of the weekend otherwise club's like Wigan, Leeds, Warrington etc would be on nearly every weekend.

Re: Wigan on Sky
It evens out over a season. Sky tend to have a schedule for the first half of the season, then the next quarter. They tend to only change the games around in the final stage when places in the top eight are up for grabs.

By showing all the crap teams early in the season it frees up coverage of the better ones as we get to the buisiness end of the seasonWhelley Warrior wrote:All the club's have to have a share of the coverage of the game and the choice is not always on the best match of the weekend otherwise club's like Wigan, Leeds, Warrington etc would be on nearly every weekend.
