Re: Sam & Wane

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

So is Waney off to NZW as well then? Could be a good move to get him some experience down under.
Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?

Anyone considered the possibility that Mrs Wane and Mrs Tomkins might just know each other as friends. Mrs W lost her husband recently, maybe Mrs T thought a holiday just might be good for her?

Excuse me?? What you talking about?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Just tweeted by Phil Wilkinson:

"The same source who told me NZ Warriors chasing Tomkins (which was denied by club) said they ARE keen on Wane if Elliott goes. See Observer"

Strong rumour that Sam's contract with the Warriors (NZ) will involve 2 players from there, plus Kevin Locke, joining the club in return.

Wigan hoping to have a clause that after 2/3 years, Sam's first option is to re-join us.

On a side note, Kevin Locke got carried off on a stretcher at the weekend after a worrying collapse, with no one else around him, and no obvious sign of injury. Something like this could be a season ending blow, or even a career threatening one. Obviously this could jeopardise his involvement in any move to us if the experts can't find out the cause of his problem.

I'd have Road Runner. Especially if the other 2 are Tommy and Matulino! :)
