They won't be in the top eight after their next four games.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

they may not be, but they if they are still there or there abouts at the end of the season, and with roby and lomax fit and rested after only playing half a season they could be a good outside bet for the grand final........

what would that do for the credibility of the playoffs

It won't really effect anything - the current system is under review and its pretty clear that the current 14 team top tier / top 8 playoff will no longer exist after the current licensing period.

People should forget about credibility anyway, it is the system we have for now and we have to deal with it. We could also rest/manage key players to make sure they are primed for September. We could also make sure the back ups are ready and able by getting them integrated with first team play. To win the GF this year will have nothing to do with the credibility of the system and everything to do with how we deal with September.

He was rested last week with Wellens slipping back to his old position. I have felt his firm has dipped this season, maybe he's having to take to much on running the ball back. No Meli or Gardner now and no point passing to the kids on the three quarter line.

And I've heard another rumour of NRL interest!
