if things keep going as they are we could very well be playing them the first week of the playoffs.
I think their main problem apart from missing Briers is that all their main players are severly knocking on.
Also, i don't think they've missed Morley he's well past it and if he plays again for England Mcnamara wants shooting.

purely hypothetical but do you think Warrington would of lost those games if they were play off games?
I accept imo they have a reliance on some older key players, Morley, Hodgson and Briers but I believe if the were the last five matches they wouldn't have five losses chalked up.
Where as Wane is passionate about winning every game.Thats great as long as it ends up with at least one trophy this year. Wane has the right philosophy as he respects the fans who turn up and pay. It's the system that's now flaud due to coaches abusing it.

Yes if that was a play off game last night against Hull they would have still lost it in my opinion, no Morley or Hodgson obviously a factor but Hull have players missing too!!l halliday wrote:purely hypothetical but do you think Warrington would of lost those games if they were play off games?

I'm probably in the minority on this site but I'd rather have our current play off system. I know this can result in a side from 5th in the table being crowned champions but to my thinking this is preferable to Premier league say where the only interest at the end of the season is which team will finish 4th.

As opposed to the current situation where the battle is for 8th?Seinfeld79 wrote:I'm probably in the minority on this site but I'd rather have our current play off system.
