Worst player I have seen you will do best if you leave him a lone.
Leigh Centurions managing director Andy Mazey reveals that Wigan Warriors have made a bid for prop Sam Hopkins.
The 23-year-old, who signed a one-year deal at the start of the season, has scored eight tries in 11 appearances in the Championship this term.
"Leigh will meet to discuss two bids later, one of which I can confirm is Wigan," Mazey says on Twitter. "Pure speculation at this stage, no deal for Sam has been agreed with Wigan nor anyone else."
He can't sign unless he changes his name. Far too confusing with a Sam Tomkins and a Sam Hopkins in the same side. Eddie would never survive 80 minutes and God knows what the BBC would make of it.
They would probably invite him on a Question of Sport thinking they were getting Sam T.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Wouldn't be the first time. I remember David Stephenson getting called up to play for England. By the RFU!
