Hiya, it hasn't disappeared I merged it with the other post regarding 'Have Wigan fans/RL fans developed a lazy culture'.

I think that's the title off the top of my head
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

We weren't far off not being able to call it a crowd to be honest!

Embarrassing how many empty seats were on show on tv.

Bad crowd due to it being on Monday night, on television and against a team which our younger players beat a few weeks ago.

For some reason, week games in Wigan now never seemed to attract decent attendances for both clubs in cup competitions.

For example, a couple of seasons ago, the Latic's played a FA Cup replay in front of a crowd of only 8,000 against nearby Bolton Wanderers and according to reports, 50% of that crowd was from Bolton.

With the present recession, money is tight for many people, especially with young families.
