i think Luaki was given a 2 year deal with the option of a 3rd please don't take the option,on our performance it was extremely lacklustre and they just seem to be waiting for wembley, play like that and i'd be dreading wembley,God knows what team Wane will put out next week he shouldn't risk his key men on a hard pitch in south of france which for once i'd agree with so he'll probably play them

time to bite the bullet and concede it has been a mistake and let the guy go, he is simply not the style or type we need in our front row.

It was three years with the option of a fourth. Unfortunately.

Don't think Powell was given much of a chance to be fair. Spent most of the time trying to deal with one of the most dangerous left side attacks in the league and didn't do too badly. Green was much worse but not many people played well.
I thought he had gone off the pitch after touching down from the Josh tap back but then he popped up again to kick direct to the Giants full back instead of finding touch and the same full back ended up scoring the try which finally killed us off. He was totally anonymous.

I thought Hampshire showed a lot of effort running the ball out but just isn't big enough to break tackles. He was not good enough at the end of the day in the no. 1 position but it wasn't due to being a poor player. I think he was on a bit of a hiding to nothing. I am more concerned about players like Green who are supposed to be established first team players.
daveO,
I've no idea what the game stats will show but I think Hampshire must have put in more work than most last night. Giants kicked us to death and time and time again Hampshire had to run it back with 5 or 6 Giants waiting to nail him hard and he never shirked once.
If we have to play Tomkins at Wembley and I'm not sure he deserves to be there after missing 5 consecutive league matches with 5 different 'injuries' I'd play him at scrum half with Hampshire at 6, Richards at 1 and Burgess on the wing after his showing last week. We might go down but at least we would put up a performance better than last night.

If he spent more time on the training pitch than in the hairdressers with his hair and his beads he might become an average player. Sorry Mr Wane you goofed when you bought him

If we are stuck with this useless tub of lard for another season then sweet Jesus. Worse we could lose the likes of Spencer for him!!!

For an ex forward then Wane IMO is a pretty bad judge of a forward player!!!
