A thought that crossed my mind was just play Micky Mac for the full 80.

Wane's ploy of take him off for the last 10 minutes of the first half and at least the first 10 mins of the 2nd half is as predicable as our attack and I don't think we improve when he goes off.

Toss up between Thornley and Gelling IMO. If he picks Hughes at centre I think that would be a serious mistake given he has played there about twice this season.

It's a problem position for us and Hull have the advantage here.
I think he must be playing it safe to be choosing Thornley - as I don't see what he offers in attack and means that we will be reliant on Goulding and Charnley's side for our strike.

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Nothing wrong with that idea Dave but Logan can only play hooker whereas Powell offered cover for 2 position and Hampshire several. It is a bad selection IMO as it restricts options.

I'd be really tempted to play Hughes at centre. I know he hasn't played there a great deal this season, particularly recently, but he is better in defence and I don't see what we'll be losing in attack.

Huge +++s that Hull are missing Lineham and McDonnel + centres like Crooks / Yeoman are returning from injury & operations.
It does not matter who Hull put out - Its a simple equation.

We turn up an play as we have the last month in SL = LOSE

We turn up and play well = WIN

Worry is the performances over the last month has been poorer than Hull.

I am assured Gimble that the real Wigan will turn up for the final.

Unfortunately talk is cheap, however I still believe it!

Wembley weather forecast is heavy rain and a possible factor on selection? Would make our "spread plays" risky.

Exactly, the same team that won the Semi Final and rightly so.
