It would be a sad day if that happened. The reason ale is allowed at rugby games, the reason local pubs are allowed to open is that rugby fans can generally enjoy a pint without needing to kick someone's head in!
The guy in front of me would have readily tried to kick my head in when I asked him to sit down. Fortunately, he couldn't stand up proper and I refused to back down from his drunken attempts at intimidation.

Sad as it may be I would totally agree with this scenario.

Wandering Warrior, did you travel down to Wembley on the same coach as God?

That would explain some of your rather silly comments regarding players, team, etc., beer goggles can have a massive effect on reality, ask anybody who has lost a relative to a drink driver?! Not exactly the same scenario but certainly a modification of behaviour and logic is caused by ale, whereby nobody else matters!!
What a complete idiot you are, my opinions are my opinions; what as ale got to do with it you silly little man? If i want to get up for a PISS then i will do, and i doubt anybody going stop me :conf:

He is perfectly entitled to his opinion though Rob and medically / observationally he is CORRECT. You are going to watch a rugby league match and yet you choose to one miss portions of the match at the bar, in the toilet and second worse your judgement is inhibited by alcohol consumption. Fans then compound it by their own admission drinking alcohol that is apparently the equivalent of cats urine and more expensive than the quality brews served in pubs. If people want to drink themselves silly they may as well not buy a ticket and go to a nearby pub to watch it on TV.

Everything in moderation is fine with me, when people get disrupted continuously because others are drinking beyond moderation then I think they are being selfish. Whether the disruption is down to loudness, swearing, rudeness, standing up, going to the toilet etc. doesn't really matter to me because I believe that they are all unacceptable. If you can't relax for an hour and half and drink conservatively and wait to drink more in a pub after then it is a little bit selfish. People go to watch rugby and pay hard earned cash to do that, not to have their viewing ruined by somebody else only thinking of themselves and their interests. I am not for one minute saying don't drink or shout or dance when we score a try but just think about others around you and drink in moderation.

I might be an idiot, but I'm a sober idiot who doesn't make a pratt out of himself by senseless disturbing people without any due thought to the effects of my actions, you'll be alright when you grow up. If you'd call six one and fifteen stone little, then you are correct again, perhaps your brain has just been taken out of the pickle jar after Saturday? Now don't forget to go for a wee wee before you reply!! :D

With every club there are those who think getting stupidly drunk, shouting abuse, behaving like children with the attitude, "listen to me I can say the F word a lot and loudly, and abuse people aren't I clever"? no you are not clever you are a disgrace to the town and the club.

Here is a bloody simple solution for all. If people like Rob wants to drink himself silly and go and piss every few minutes then get a ticket that is at the end of your aisle so it allows you to drink and lets everyone else watch the game without having to behave like a YO-YO.

Just a side note but it is actually a violation to be drunk at Wembley and you can be removed from the ground. Just in-case people think its a free country and you can get drunk go to a game and disrupt others.
