Sam staying???????
Re: Ungrateful Sam
Exactly my point,if he is going to get looked after so much better then do the decent thing and go.
Re: Ungrateful Sam
I hate what has happened this season and Sam has let hmself down BUT he is not solely to blame. FAR FROM IT. IL as all our fans will acknowledge if they think about is awful at leaving individual out on a limb and lets rumours build and build and build. Sam like all employees is restricted by contractual obligations and IL is very quick to exercise his employer right to fine employees.
Re: Ungrateful Sam
It may be true but it is not very diplomatic and he'd be better saying it to IL and the Fat Controller than giving the press yet more ammunition to do our sport down.jobo wrote:He's saying it as he sees it, no disrespect in that.Emraz wrote:Comments about how you get looked after better in union,I think wigan have looked after him very well, frankly I'm just fed up of him now,let him go an lets move on there will be another one of him rolling off the wigan production line.
Re: Ungrateful Sam
Agreed,it's not all Sam,but it just needs putting to bed now,he has let himself down and all this staying ,going, staying ,going is not doing anything for our team or our prep for the playoffs.
Re: Ungrateful Sam
The man that could have ended it far sooner is IL, remember Noble, remember who was replacing Madge. The common denominator is IL.Emraz wrote:Agreed,it's not all Sam,but it just needs putting to bed now,he has let himself down and all this staying ,going, staying ,going is not doing anything for our team or our prep for the playoffs.
Sam would perhaps be better adopting the stock Wigan reply of 2/3 seasons ago; it is not club policy to comment on rumours.
Neither stance is acceptable
After being fantastic dealing with the questions on CC final day, Sam has now let himself down but it is incredibly difficult, look at Hock and how IL tried to destroy him in the press.

What a bitter little man you are!!!Emraz wrote:Glad to here our super sam thinks we don't look after him enough, just get gone sam, enough is enough!
Do you know the whole story??
Newspapers/Journalists can print & twist what has actually been said to sensationalise & sell papers that have a traditional RU bias!
And, No, it didn't need a separate thread :exc:
Merged :exc:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

"How players get looked after in union off the field far outweighs league by 10 times.”
Josie, these are Sam's own words taken from an interview with him,so do you know the whole story?
By the way I'm not bitter and I certainly am not a little man !
The clue is in the name!
