Warrington didn't breeze past Huddersfield. In fact, if the Giants hadn't made three defensive errors under the high kick they could have very well won the match by the same margin they lost it.
A lot is being made of the form of the two sides preceeding the play offs, or how they fared when we met in the regular season. All irrelevant in my opinion, as Wigan have focused on peaking at the right time; "doing a Leeds" so to speak. Warrington haven't managed it as well as Wane and the lads have.
I'm quietly confident that Wigan will be too good in defence, too clinical with the ball, and have the players to punish Warrington. We know Warrington are "flat-track bullies". They won't be able to bully Wigan today.
Are Warrington favourites?

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

- this year's games between us - we were the better side at home and much of the away game, despite having a host of players settling in, in the first case, and a severely weakened team in the second;
- our form in the big games - we are 7 from 7, and the level of performance we have produced in the last 5 of those (people massively under estimated the execution in attack and brilliance in defence in the Cup run to my mind)will be sufficient to win on Saturday;
- Wire's weaknesses - they have 2 main ones. Age, where our greater fitness, tenacity and ability to sustain our game for 80 minutes, will be in our favour, and their mistake rate, where we are set up to take more advantage of the opposition's mistakes than any other team; and
- we are Wigan - we have won at Old Trafford. Winning is in the club's DNA.
8 from 8.

Warrington couldnt have played any better against Leeds and Huddersfield and gave 100% and were well out on there feet with 20 mins to go against Huddersfield.
Warrington fans, pundits, and bookies are confident of a Warrington win... Wire fans, although nervous about the day, are embarrassingly confident that they will blow us off the park in the first 30 and hold out for a win and are disgussing how they will go about this.
The old "Its our year" tag being mentioned on more than one occasion. Looking at interviews Wigan seem very relaxed about the prospect unlike Wire, Monaghan looked like he was going to cry at one point.
We will see, im hoping the weather is going to be rubbish...Wire make alot of mistakes in games and if its wet i can see it being like Wembly all over again.
1. In getting to tomorrow, we have both played the same 2 teams. We conceded 3 tries, Wire conceded 8.
2. Wire have the same team out as last year which wasn't good enough then. An older Morley, Carvell, Briers et al will not improve them.
3. Lex on RedVee predicts Wigan by 10. He is rarely wrong and predicted Wigan by 16 in the CCF!
He is forgiven!
