'Ey up, Charlie! I'm a Yorkshire lass (tho married a pie eater, said he came to Yorkshire to increase the average IQ here and lower it in Lancashire). We've been cheering the lads on in Cawood Park caravan site bar near Selby - lots of Cas Halifax fans all supporting Wigan. Ease off on the "lesser shire" stuff and have a good time in Russia x
Married a Yorkshire lass myself. Had photos taken on the border with me in Lancashire and her in Yorkshire!

Bloody Westwood's fault.
I had Paddy last try at 12/1. Happy days!

Nice bet. I had a few on Wigan to score first from a penalty, as I always have done in tight games with Paddy playing. Not at 12/1 though, unfortunately! Also had Paddy as first try scorer.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Strangely enough, I had a discussion along these lines with some Cas fans in the pub this afternoon.

My grandad went to look for work in Yorkshire just after WWI, as a result, all his 6 kids were born there including my mother and were staunch Yorkists. If ever Wigan were playing a Yorkshire team on TV, we would be supporting opposite teams!

For my uncles 80th birthday some years ago, they took him to the DW to watch Wigan play Sheffield United. He agreed to go only on the condition he went into the Sheffield end! :)

My kids were born in Cheshire - neutral territory .

My wife doesn't get to go to matches these days but before we had kids we followed the team around and I have many happy memories of my wife going absolutely nuts at Wembley finals and especially in the Mission Impossible season.

Born in Thurnscoe. Completely converted to a Wigan fan.

Funnily enough in her younger days she was a big Man Utd fan travelling from Yorkshire and watched the games from the Stretford End stood on a milk crate (she is not very tall!) and now thinks footballers are load of wimps!

Learned a life lesson today.

I'll never write people off too early.

Wane, Green, Smith. The team.

What they achieved tonight will go down in History!

A phenomenal victory which shows domination at the top of Superleague.

A message to Ian L. Please dont f*** this up for the future of the club. (No more comments about IL - more on the victory!)

Dave, we have certainly had differing opinions of late but much respect to the above post! At the end of the day we all want success for WIGAN RLFC and we have certainly got that this season!! Enjoy!!
