Also. Just said on Sky News. Biggest comeback in Grand Final History. I'd missed that statistic!

Had to work unfortunately Kit..I don't work many Saturdays but the shop Manager is on holiday. I always manage to miss out on going to the big games somehow...oh well..one day I,m sure I'll get the chance.Kittwazzer wrote:How come you didn't go Winky?the winky one wrote:At 16-2 I actually said game over and was fearful of what the score might end up. In the second half I was gobsmacked!
One thing that really annoyed me was Hemmings constant carping about Warrington losing two players he just wouldn't let it drop,I swear I could have put a brick through the t v screen.
Anyway I'm on cloud nine and don't plan to come down for a week.....in fact I might stretch it to two..![]()
WELL DONE WIGAN !!

Fair enough. I was just concerned that you had no-one to go with. That would be very easy to sort out!the winky one wrote:Had to work unfortunately Kit..I don't work many Saturdays but the shop Manager is on holiday. the strange thing is there didn't seem an obvious reason for the injury...he just crumpled somehow but I wonder if he banged his head on the floor as he fell?Kittwazzer wrote:Winky, what exactly happened to Dogboy? We were attacking and I was watching play. He had to dream up some excuse. He's a Wire fan. I suppose he excused Westwood as well?DaveO wrote:[quote="the winky one"

If we are going to decide the Champions based on play off / knockouts they can't complain if the rub of the green injury wise happens in the final. Blake green could have been out of the game after two minutes. What did he say about that? [/quote]
Hardly mentioned it apart from when it happened as you would expect...looked like Green had a fractured cheekbone...I tell you Stevo and Eddie are like Punch and bloody Judy when they get going...or Richard and Judy. Take your pick..ha..

Got his head position wrong in the tackle and his head/neck went in awkwardly into Paddy's hip. Was out cold, and went off to the hospital. Not heard how he is, but guessing that the hospital trip was more precautionary than anything else.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Absolutely, I have bagged Waney and the likes of Green this season but they have made me eat my words. That is the best atmosphere I have ever experienced, was that because nobody other than the faithful expected to win? Wigan, simply the best.

A brilliant team effort and to come back from 16-2 down and score 28 unanswered points was unbelievable

I'm from UK but live in aus just watched the game on replay on fox sports as my recording didnt get it all. very pleased to see them win. A great game after weathering the wire storm in the first half.
I am very excited to be able to watch Sam next year in the NRL. the influx of UK players to the NRL can only be a good thing for the english side as far as im concerned i know wigan will miss him, but he will be a better player for being over here. Hell he might not like it, living over here is not for everyone.
I love that i dont have to put up with that silly round ball game as the be all, end all. Rugby League wins hands down over here in QLD.
