Goal kicker for new seasaon

Post by Tangosteps »

With Pat gone now, who will be our permanent kicker.

Is Josh good enough?

The best kicker at the club approaching or playing first team level is Rocky Hampshire but Josh is the best from a he will be in the team every week bar injury perspective.

I do wonder if a Stephenson / Gill combination scenario is worth trying

Matty Smith is the best goal kicker left in the squad

I thought Matty would have been fantastic particularly given his round ball background but IMO he has been poor when place kicking albeit his drop kicks are superb. Perhaps time to enlist a 'Dave Aldred' as we did in the past.

Really don't agree with Rocky he's a good young player but he lacks the kicking power and accuracy, Josh would be ok but people seem to be forgetting about Matty Bowen

I've seen Rocky kick thirteen out of thirteen goals from different parts of the field ????????

He may be our next Sam IMO got great skills ????

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

+1

One even more for the future but IIRC jake Sharrock is a superb kicker too.

Yes, Jake is another academy player with heaps of potential
